L&rsquo;insomnie fait partie des dyssomnies, qui sont des troubles du sommeil li\u00e9s \u00e0 la dur\u00e9e, \u00e0 la <strong>qualit\u00e9 et au moment du sommeil.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que l&rsquo;insomnie exactement ?<\/h2>\n<p>Nous avons tous, \u00e0 un moment ou \u00e0 un autre, des difficult\u00e9s \u00e0 nous endormir, \u00e0 rester endormis ou \u00e0 dormir suffisamment longtemps. Cela est souvent d\u00fb \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements occasionnels et nous n&rsquo;avons donc pas imm\u00e9diatement un probl\u00e8me de sommeil. Toutefois, si <strong>vous souffrez d&rsquo;insomnie pendant plusieurs nuits d&rsquo;affil\u00e9e<\/strong> et que cela affecte \u00e9galement votre fonctionnement pendant la journ\u00e9e, nous parlons d&rsquo;un probl\u00e8me de sommeil. Si ce probl\u00e8me persiste pendant plusieurs semaines, on parle m\u00eame <strong>d&rsquo;insomnie chronique<\/strong>. Dormir peut alors vraiment devenir un cauchemar.<\/p>\n<h2>Sympt\u00f4mes de l&rsquo;insomnie<\/h2>\n<p>Lorsque vous souffrez d&rsquo;insomnie, il y a une ou plusieurs choses qui ne fonctionnent pas bien lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit de dormir :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vous <strong>ne pouvez pas vous endormir<\/strong> (correctement) ;<\/li>\n<li>Vous <strong>ne pouvez pas dormir la nuit<\/strong> et vous vous r\u00e9veillez souvent ;<\/li>\n<li>Vous vous <strong>r\u00e9veillez trop t\u00f4t le matin<\/strong> et \u00eates incapable de continuer \u00e0 dormir ;<\/li>\n<li>Vous vous <strong>r\u00e9veillez fatigu\u00e9<\/strong>, m\u00eame si vous avez r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 dormir toute la nuit ;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Causes de l&rsquo;insomnie<\/h2>\n<p>Il n&rsquo;est pas toujours facile de trouver une cause \u00e0 l&rsquo;insomnie. Parfois, l&rsquo;insomnie a une raison clairement identifiable, comme une maladie (psychiatrique ou somatique) qui l&rsquo;accompagne. Mais il est <strong>souvent difficile de trouver une cause directe identifiable<\/strong>. L&rsquo;insomnie peut avoir plusieurs causes telles que :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Stress et tension<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9termination g\u00e9n\u00e9tique<\/li>\n<li>Mauvaises conditions de sommeil<\/li>\n<li>Rythme et rituels diurnes et nocturnes incorrects<\/li>\n<li>&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>L&rsquo;insomnie peut \u00e9galement <strong>\u00eatre acquise<\/strong>. Dormir est l&rsquo;un de nos besoins fondamentaux et contribue \u00e0 une bonne sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><em>irritabilit\u00e9 accrue &#8211; plus \u00e9motif &#8211; moins de r\u00e9sistance &#8211; probl\u00e8mes de concentration &#8211; niveau d&rsquo;irritabilit\u00e9 plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 &#8211; plaintes physiques telles que des maux de t\u00eate &#8211; plus grand risque de d\u00e9pression &#8211; &#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>ne sont que quelques-unes des plaintes qui peuvent survenir si vous ne disposez pas d&rsquo;une bonne nuit de sommeil. Heureusement, il existe un certain nombre de choses que vous pouvez faire pour r\u00e9duire le risque d&rsquo;insomnie :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assurez-vous que votre <strong>environnement de sommeil est optimal<\/strong> : par exemple, la temp\u00e9rature de votre chambre et la qualit\u00e9 de votre lit peuvent \u00eatre un facteur perturbant ;<\/li>\n<li>Veillez \u00e0 vous d\u00e9tendre <strong>avant de vous coucher<\/strong>, afin de ne pas vous endormir avec un cerveau \u00ab\u00a0surcharg\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. \u00c9vitez une trop grande stimulation par la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision ou l&rsquo;ordinateur ;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ne buvez pas de boissons caf\u00e9in\u00e9es<\/strong> juste avant d&rsquo;aller vous coucher ;<\/li>\n<li>Essayez de garder un <strong>rythme de sommeil r\u00e9gulier<\/strong> : couchez-vous \u00e0 la m\u00eame heure et levez-vous \u00e0 la m\u00eame heure ;<\/li>\n<li>Passez <strong>moins de temps au lit<\/strong>. Souvent, les personnes insomniaques ont tendance \u00e0 se coucher plus t\u00f4t pour augmenter leurs chances de dormir davantage. Malheureusement, dans la plupart des cas, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;inverse qui se produit.
